Ducklings still being swept away to a horrible death.
 The council have not replaced the meshing that they took off, or replaced the original metal cover that they cut off. Why? because they don't want to have to maintain the sluice.
 with no cover on, all the rubbish goes down steam so they don't have to collect it up.
They are littering the waterway, and killing the ducklings!!

 

 

Jon Wortley then vice chair of the council took off the meshing from the sluice. This was his post he put on the village face book group.

I was horrified when I saw this and I complained about it

 This meshing was put on by the parish council at the request of the RSPCA about 8 years ago, because of ducklings going down the sluice, and through the wheel to a horrible suffering death.
The original grid on the sluice  has been cut off at the bottom by past parish council members to allow rubbish  to go down the sluice. 
 The RSPCA were called out a few times by me to rescue ducklings, and signets that had gone down the sluice, and were in the part just before the wheel, with no way to get out.
They contacted the council and requested they do something to protect the wildlife. The meshing was put on, and it has been on about 8 years or more.

On the other side is a old mill wheel, the ducklings don't stand much of a chance once they get to this point. 
 There is an environmental issue too, it's very irresponsible for the council to let the mere rubbish, plastic bottles, balls etc.... go down stream causing littering of the beck. with all the TV coverage on the issue of plastic in our rivers, I think the council should be responsible for the rubbish on the mere, and not let it go down stream. This contaminates the beck, looks unsightly and causes a serious hazard to wildlife.

 Jon Wortley (vice chair) and Ross Holmes (long time parish council member) took off the meshing. Ross holmes knew how long that meshing had been on, and why it was on. I personally spoke to Ross Holmes about the meshing to ask for it to be put on, 8 years ago, and the RSPCA phoned him about it.
  They chose to take it off because it was the easy option for them.

 

 

 



Jon Wortley posting on our village Facebook group, in the most unprofessional manner possible. He was vice chair of the parish council, and his behaviour was despicable to say the least.

 He was rude; He was making representations about me that were untrue and they defamed my character and reputation within the community. Why?

All I wanted them to do was put some protection back on the sluice. Jon lied to the public and put the post on above.

 He said the meshing was put on two weeks before it was found. I protested as I knew this to be a lie, and then a hate campaign against me started.

I put in a complaint to Sue Tait chair, and the clerk about what Jon was doing. Then Jon put another post up on Facebook telling everyone I had put in a complaint about him, and enticed more hate on me.

 He said he could now only speak in a personal capacity.  This complaint was given to Sue Tait and the clerk, and should have been a private matter, then Jon Wortley put it on Facebook! How can this be right? He said he was speaking in a personal capacity, but it was Parish Council business, so it couldn't be on a personal capacity.



 So he carried on with his hate campaign against me, on a personal capacity, but it was about council business? 
 when I  emailed Sue Tait, and told her what Jon was doing and I found the whole thing very distressing, and well out of order for a parish council vice chair to be attacking a member of the public like this.

She sent me an email back saying she wasn't a member of the group, and it was a closed group, so she has asked to join so she can see what he is saying?



Strange why she would lie about this?  She has been a member of this group for 2 years, and she is also Admin to this group? I didn't suspect her to be lying, she was being nice at the time. 



If you are a Member it doesn't give you the option to ask to join it just lets you into the group. There is no way she could have asked to join
 She says she has logged into the group and asked to be a member. So even if she had forgotten she was a member, it would not have allowed her to ask to be a member if she already was one.   So she lied, Why?

I didn't realise she had lied about this at the time, I found this out later. So at this time I was under the impression she was the nice person she made out to be.  I got this email back from Sue

 

 





  The attack on me was outrages, and he was talking in a personal capacity but about council business? Everything was about the mere, what he was changing as a councillor. Giving ill advice, and saying just how clever he was, and I am ill informed. Even telling me to do what he says regards the feeding of the ducks ?
He was publically discrediting me by putting on ill informed information, and saying I was ill informed, turning the public against me because they thought he knew best  because he was a councillor and had a degree?? 
 Everyone making fun at me, telling lies, and Jon loving the attention he was getting.  He just carried on, and on.
He told everyone that the meshing had only been on 2 weeks before it was found and taken off? This was a lie, and the impression given was that it was me that put the meshing on two weeks before they took it off.

 

I asked sue to stop this as it was unfair, and very distressing. but she did nothing. She cant say she wasn't aware of what he was doing because on this post she joins in??All having fun at my expense.
Duckgate, breadgate, all threads started were making fun of me. Really unbelievable. This is the start of a thread. All these people are on the council, or family members of the council. Do they have nothing else to do?? Do they have no shame? Are they people we want on the council? They should have been trying to resolve the problem, not make fun of it. It is not funny when ducklings are being swept down the sluice, and swept through the mill wheel to their deaths. I found this extremely distressing.

Jon even sent me an email telling me if I wanted to know what to feed the ducks, please feel free to contact him?? He was enjoying his power, and bullying me. Vice chair of the council attacking a member of the public, because she wanted to protect the ducklings??  I did not deserve this outrages attack on me. 
He changed the feeding policy that he knew I had done for the parish council some years ago?
Why would he do this? He replaced it with one to include bread. Mine said please don't feed bread, and gave the reasons why. It informed the public why bread was bad.
This was done for the council, at the request of the past chair of the council, who wrote to me and asked me to do the sign for them. It was done because of the Yorkshire wildlife report on the mere. Yorkshire wildlife recommend no bread because it does a lot of harm to ponds and rivers, and also is a very bad food for ducks.

 John Wortley told the public the new feeding policy was the RSPB feeding policy? This was another lie. The RSPB, RSPCA, Yorkshire wildlife, river trust, even lots of councils now don't endorse bread. They all state the damage it does to the ducks and the waterways. So our council has now gone from a good policy to a bad one?
This again making me look as if I don't know what I am talking about?

 I still have the letter from Mike Jackson asking me to do the feeding policy notice, and an email from him too. He was Chair of the council at the time.

I tried to tell Sue Tait at one of the meetings that the policy they had put in place of the one I did was not the RSPB policy and It was the wrong information, they were giving to the public.
 I had a letter from mike Jackson asking me to do this policy because bread was bad for the mere.
 She dismissed it, because she said it didn't have the right letter head on it, she would not discuss it at all. I was not allowed to speak?
It was easy to investigate as Mike is only round the corner, but she didn't want to. Again I was ignored.

Seems Sue Tait was lying yet again. I found this in the minutes.

So she knew about the letter. Why lie about it?

Jon Wortley was at this meeting too, so he knew all about why bread was bad, and why I was asked to do the sign.

 Jon Wortley said he had a solution to the sluice problem, and was having a grill made by someone. I said great, but can we have the meshing put back on until it’s made, because we have our first lot of 13 ducklings on the mere and they will go down the sluice. 

His argument was the lie about the meshing been on just two weeks before they took it off, so it was a risk to put it back on. Why do this? I just cant believe anyone can be so cruel to let all our ducklings die.

 The clerk Anne knows how long the meshing has been on  because she dealt with the RSPCA when they called her to ask for it to be done.
The meshing being on for just two weeks has been  their argument, for so long. This they insisted over and over again.

 No matter how much I protested the meshing had been on for years, they said it wasn't. So the public has me the liar, and the council telling the truth.

It is unbelievable that a parish council can be so awful to a member of the public, who's only crime is to try to save the ducklings. If they can do this to me, who else in the past have they bullied, and who else in the future will be bullied by them.
If Sue Tait can lie to me, then who else is she lying to. A parish chair should not be lying to people.

Another nice post from the chair of the parish council. I have far to many of this kind of nonsense that Jon was writing. This was in answer to someone who was speaking up for the ducklings.

So in this post he actually says my meshing? so he is telling the public that I put the meshing on? Another lie to the public. He knows full well the council put that meshing on, and I have since proven this
He states that the logs, and mortal remains get caught in the grating and my meshing?? stops small leaves, twigs, which is needed down stream. What a load of rubbish, I cant believe people believe the nonsense he talks.
First thing. The original grating has been cut off, so all logs etc.. go down stream, so a lie again to the public. Meshing does catch small things, it also stops all the plastic bottles, balls, plastic sweet cartons etc.. from going down stream.
does the wildlife down stream need this? do people walking along the beck like to see it littered with rubbish?
And to say the parish council don't have a duty to protect unendangered animals is outrages. The council have a duty of care to the wildlife on the mere, and also they should not be allowing rubbish to go downstream. We get signets on the mere, they also used to go down the sluice before the meshing was put in place. Swans are protected.

  

 
 I tried to tell Sue Tait at one of the meetings that the meshing was put on by the council and it had been on for 8 years, and there had been no problems at all, with the meshing on over all these years. I said it was Gary Lavis that told me it had been put on.

Sue Tait said “ there was nothing about it in the minutes, and Gary Lavis has left the village, and no one can contact him, so therefore there was no proof of it being put on by the past parish council, and this is why it was removed.

 She must have forgotten this email she had sent to me earlier, before she told me, and everyone else at the meeting that no one knew how to contact Gary Lavis.

This is an email from Sue Tait.  she said she has spoken to Gary Lavis?? She said at the meeting that, no one could get in touch with him. So if she was speaking to him, she most certainly knew the truth about the meshing.

 So why was she saying it was put on by a resident, and it caused a flood., and no one can get in touch with Gary Lavis?. when she has been speaking to him.
 



This was at the time the RSPCA were around checking things, and the meshing I put back on was allowed to stay on at this point. Also note that I was asked to feed away from the road, I wasn't asked not to feed the ducks, like she has suggested in her campaign to get me to stop feeding the ducks.
 The campaign where she says to the public she has asked me politely to stop feeding the ducks. Another lie to get the public against me. See this link It's terrible what she has said on this face book page. and again she lies

  Sue Tait mentions in the above letter that the lowering of the mere was going to be delayed for a few weeks and she had emailed Jeff RSPCA officer to tell him.
This delay was not out of their concern for the ducklings, but because I rang the RSPCA as well as many other people to stop them doing it at the time they were going to do it. 

 They were going to lower the mere for none urgent repairs, regardless of the risk to the only surviving 9 ducklings on the mere. I asked if they would delay it for a few weeks and they said no. A point blank NO!! From Sue Tait. 
So I then had to ring around, trying to get it stopped. They then delayed it after the RSPCA spoke to them.
 
And in the news letter they made themselves look so caring by telling everyone they delayed the lowering of the mere to give the ducklings a chance. Not that they were told they had a responsibility to the ducklings and they need to hold it back a few weeks.

I eventually got the  proof that the Parish council put the meshing on the sluice, about 8 years ago.
I had a good idea who was chair of the council the time the meshing was put on, I got his number and telephoned him. He has confirmed that the council put the meshing on, at the RSPCA'S request. He said he will confirm this to anyone that rings him.
This past parish chair's name has been given to the standards committee.

I made one big error in the fact that I confided in Sue Tait about my PTSD and GAD and hoped she would understand how important the mere and ducks were to me and why. I tried to get her to understand how important it is to look after the mere and it's wildlife. It's the focal point of Nafferton,  If we don't care for it, it wont be there for the next generation.
 When its gone it's gone.
 She was very nice on the phone, and we talked for a long time. I gave ideas etc... For the Mere and how to get a free clean up, or a good lump sum towards it. The water board have an obligation to help, because it's their sewerage in the bottom of the mere. The report that Yorkshire wildlife did in 2012 mentioned the sewerage then, so proof was there that its been going in all this time. Yorkshire Wildlife would help too.

Then I went to my first meeting, I had someone with me, and I was positive that something could be sorted. The meeting was a disaster.  

Simon Wildridge a new member  was a disgrace. She shouted at me, ranted on and said I was a liar, and there was no ducklings going down the sluice. He kept shouting where’s your proof, show the proof.  Jon's post above is the proof, he mentions the meshing stops the ducklings being pulverised by the wheel.
I didn’t get much of a word in to be honest and when I tried to explain further I got another rant from Simon Wildridge. I can’t remember all what he said but the bit I remember was “It’s been happening for years, it’s nature”

So in one rant it wasn’t happening I was a liar, the next it’s been happening for years it’s nature. So which is it?  I tried to explain that it wasn’t nature, and the mere was manmade, and we as humans have a responsibility to the wildlife when making things like this. All I got then was “It isn’t a man made Mere” Really?  So I get abuse when I wanted to talk, and the person calling me a liar, doesn’t even know  the mere is manmade.

Sue Tait was like a different person, and it was like all of a sudden I was this mad woman?? And I knew no one was going to listen to me. I confided in Susan, and it was clear to me that others in the meeting had been told. A breach of confidence, which was then used against me.
For the bullies of Nafferton. Look up PTSD and GAD you will see, I am not mad. I have problems with my nerves and stress, and panic attacks, like many other people. I was not born with this condition, it is the result of being in the Guilford bombing when I was a young recruit in the army. I have many problems to deal with, and your bullying just adds to my stress. You should all be ashamed of yourselves.   

Discrimination of the disabled is against the law. Posts like this can destroy people. Sue Tait told the other council members and she shouldn't have done. 

 At this point I realised Sue Tait couldn’t be trusted, she disclosed what I told her, something not many people knew about. No one in Nafferton knew this; it wasn’t something I wanted people to know about. I don't know why she was so awful to me.

The bullying I have received has been very distressing, and it did did effect my health, and for Sue Tait to tell lie, after lie to the residents of Nafferton resulting in more bullying from many residents, including Vice chair Jon Wortley who was instigating a lot of the  bullying. Residents believe the council and they think it’s me that’s telling the lies, and that I am mad. This was so crule, why did they do it? 
Attacks tantrums ?? all I did was call Jon a duckling killer, of which he is, I don't think I called him an idiot, but his behaviour, and stupid things he was saying, did prove himself to be an idiot, so I may have said this.
 I have many more posts of Jon and his attacks on me. A vice chair of Nafferton parish council?? Disgusting to say the least. I have all emails I sent to Sue Tait, asking her to stop this, and they did nothing, they let it carry on. And now even Sue Tait has joined in. See link further down. 

Because of the councils lies I have been bullied for over a year now, by people I don't know, people just listening to the council. Such awful things have been said about me, of which is just not true. 

The RSPCA came to a meeting, and told the council that they had a responsibility to the wildlife on the mere. He told them they had to put a cover on the sluice, that protects the ducklings, and protects from flooding, and they had to employ someone to maintain it. He also told them that they have to consider ducklings on the mere when doing maintenance work, and to leave such things till after all ducklings have grown. The council agreed, and The RSPCA left it at that.
The next day the council took my replacement meshing off. So it was back to me putting it back on, and them taking it off everyday. It was on most of the day because I put it on late at night, and they took it off at tea time.
It was Sue Tait, Ross Holmes, and Paul Nicholson that were taking off the meshing. They all knew that meshing had been on the sluice for years, and there was no chance of a flood as long as it was maintained, but they still took it off.
They left it on for 5 weeks while the RSPCA were on site, so why couldn't they leave it on for a few weeks more just to help the 9 surviving ducklings?
 

Desperate, and stressed I decided on a compromise, and what I thought would be a solution for all concerned.
I fixed the bars on the sluice gate, because Sue Tait had suggested it in the email above, I thought this would be a temporary solution to save the surviving ducklings.

 I made the bars longer so that they go down just below the water to stop the ducklings going down. Not as strong as the original grill and the bars only went down to just below the water level, so no threat to flooding at all.
Bearing in mind, this flood risk was made up from the start.

Note that Sue Tait says in the above email  that we need to get a long term fix to the problem, maybe replace the bars that were removed years ago. A good suggestion, so  as a compromise  I did this temporary fix of the bars at my expense to save our last 9 ducklings, It was removed the same day by  the order of Sue
Tait,


Why did she have it removed? There was no way this could have caused a flood, as all it did was put the bars back to how they should be, and it was a solution that would have protected the only 9 surviving  ducklings, and it was a suggestion Sue Tait mentioned  in the email. When I asked at the meeting why they removed the bars that I fixed, I was told
"That wouldn't have stopped the ducklings going down the sluice" ??
The ducklings were older ducklings, and it would have protected them. There was no reason to do this, and I was never given a good reason. Why would they want to risk the only 9 surviving ducklings going down the sluice, when a fix was there? 

I was distraught at this point, I was exhausted, I was been bullied on line, treated like a bag of poo by the council, and worried about the ducklings.
A Parish council hate campaign against me. They did everything possible to kill the last ducklings, and I did everything possible to save them.
They even spent good money (the villages money) and had the gate to the sluice removed and re done with nice new thick meshing, and painted, so I couldn't get my hands through it to put the meshing on.
Then when I climbed over the gate, they then got more meshing, and padlocks to put over the top to stop me putting meshing on.
Unbelievable the trouble they went to, to kill 9 ducklings.

I also put a large orange ring which was anchored down so it stayed in position well before the sluice gate. This was to stop the ducklings coming near the sluice. They took it away, and they slashed it so I couldn't use it again.
 I asked Sue Tait at a meeting why she removed this, and she said anything tied to the sluice gate will be removed. It wasn't tied to the gate, it wasn't anywhere near the gate. I said it wasn't near the gate, she said it was. Well I have a picture, and as you can see, it isn't attached to the sluice gate. Sue Tait lies again to everyone at the meeting.

And all this time I am trying to get people to believe me at what is going on, and because Sue Tait is Chair of the council, everyone believes her. Despite her best efforts to stop me, I did save these 9 ducklings, one of which had been down the sluice once already.

4 went down, and I only managed to save one. As it was an older duckling I put it back with it's family. And I did have a witness with me at the time, as I had witnesses with me when I saved other ducklings.
Ducklings that went down the sluice at the time Sue Tait said (at a meeting)  And in a statement to the BBC that they had a camera on the sluice and no ducklings were seen going down, and this was at the height of duckling season.
This statement was in the Nafferton news letter, so the public were lied to by the council again.
People ringing me up to say that ducklings have gone down the sluice, and me rushing to try to save them. But Sue Tait told everyone no ducklings were going down?. This Camera was never shown, I asked to see their evidence and it was never given to me. 

A batch of ducklings went down the sluice, only two came out the other end alive. I rescued these ducklings, I had someone with me because I couldn't do it on my own, the beck was very high and water was running fast.
This was when their camera was up, and they were telling the residents no ducklings were going down. Lying to the residents of Nafferton and making me out the liar, when I am running round trying to save our wildlife. Its a disgrace

I did post on Facebook to try get some support and then another lie from Jon Wortley. He said the clerk was a volunteer and I was making work for her, and wasting her time, so gaining more hate against me

The clerk is not a volunteer she is employed by the council, she gets paid to do her job. John Knows this as he was at one of the meeting when the clerk was up for a pay rise.

Every time I tried to speak up, I was knocked back with lies 

Post below.  Jon Wortley Vice chair of the council on the village Facebook page telling lies. The top bit is me trying to get Jon to put the meshing back until a permanent solution is made. The bottom post on Jon's idea, but he lies about he wasn't informed of meshing being added and no one else on the council had knowledge of the meshing?  This is outrages that a council can lie like this.

And his constant bragging about his degree, making people think he knows what he is talking about, and I know nothing.
He took this degree 22 years ago, he hasn't done anything in this line since. It doesn't matter if he hasn't forgotten anything. A lot has happened in 22 years. My knowledge and experience is over the last 20 years. So I know he's talking nonsense, but everyone else thinks he's the brain of Britain. 




Me Trying to get the meshing on. It just fell on deaf ears.   

This statement below was given to the BBC. They  make it look like it was me that put the meshing on?  Yes I was replacing the meshing they had taken off, that had been on for 7 years, but it wasn't me that put it on 7 years ago, it was the council, of which I have now proven.

 They also mention the camera had not spotted any ducklings going down the sluice, when they knew ducklings had gone down. This camera has never been shown to anyone. No film or evidence shown at all. Also they mention the small risk of ducklings going down the sluice. Another twisting of things.

The RSPCA gave that  statement at the meeting which was when the only 9 surviving ducklings were on the mere, they were nearly full grown, so risk was put at a low for these ducklings.

 Not the small ducklings, but they use this statement to tell everyone the risk was low, this is deceiving the public.

 

They don't mention that they were forced into the delaying of the mere lowering, and that they were going to do it regardless of the ducklings.

 

This just proves how they have manipulated everything.

 

 

 

Below is an email from Sue Tait. I have had to cut the top off because they have pc Webster's email on them. I do have all original emails.

 Note: she clearly states that the statement above is a true reflection of  the RSPCA advice given. This was not so, and I did have someone with me, not to mention all the other parish council members. Why are they not speaking up? 

Is everyone in Nafferton scared of the council. If so WHY?

 

 The Police told me the council had to give me back my meshing or take it in to the police station.

 When I asked Paul Nicholson where my meshing was he said "it was in the bin" I contacted  Sue Tait and told her that if I didn't get my property back it was classed as theft.

Below she says it had been handed in to the police station and on Friday she handed some in personally??  Well I went down to the police station on the Saturday. Some but not all of my meshing was there. Also one rubber ring.

Knowing Sue Tait to be untruthful I asked when the meshing came in.

The officer said about 2 hrs ago. and his description he gave of the person who brought it in was just like Sue Tait.

So she said she handed some in on the Friday personally? All items handed in no matter what they are, get booked in on the computer. I asked if he could check to see if any meshing had been handed in on any other days.

 He went through everything handed in for the last 5 weeks. No meshing, no rubber rings. I wrote his name down and have this as evidence, and also anyone can ask for the detail of the lost property log.

She mentions the environment agency giving advice. I have been in touch with several departments and they say it's up to the Parish council what they do. So that's not a true statement either.

She cant even get the amount of ducklings that had survived and were on the mere, it was 9 not 4

And the harping on about the insurance requirements ?  Replacing the cut off bars will comply with their insurance.

Also a proper sluice cover will comply with their insurance too.

 

 

 

 

Below the story of the meshing doesn't add up. she couldn't have taken two pieces of meshing off that day? I always put the meshing on late at night, and it was usually taken off at tea time. Defamation of character??
 Well if you tell the lies, and you get caught out, you can hardly do the person who caught you out can you?




And she did send me a letter.
Intimidation from the chair of the council Sue Tait. I made copies of this and took it to a meeting, I passed it round to the other members, and as soon as Sue Tait and the clerk realised what it was they jumped up and snatched it off everyone?? So what does that tell you? I tried to get them to talk about this intimidation, but they wouldn't.

Email below from Sue Tait. note she says the ring was attached to the sluice?? well there is a  picture above of the rubber ring, and I have a video of it too. Doesn't look attached to the sluice does it?? This would have kept the mother ducks away from that area, so ducklings would be safe.
I replaced the ring they removed, and they took that out of the water too.
I also put in a massive rubber ball, and they took that out too.
All their efforts were to make sure the ducklings went down the sluice, all my efforts were to protect them

She said she copied Chris and Ann the clerk in to the emails for the records. Chris was in the emails, but not the clerk, so I sent them to the clerk for the records.
This one states about the home owner who's property I was supposed to be trespassing on? This land has public right of way. The police said they cant stop me going on it, unless these people produce documents to prove otherwise, of which I was well aware of.

 

Note: they don't want a cover on the sluice because they don't want to have to maintain it.  The problem started because they hadn't maintained the sluice.
No meshing had been taken to the police station as she said.
She was in a panic because they had not been handing in the meshing.
This last year they have spent more time at the sluice taking off my meshing, and taking out the rubber balls and rings, putting new gates on and meshing on top of the gate with padlocks on.
(it's like fort Knox) to stop me getting to the sluice, and one member Paul Dawson, has the job of going down everyday to check I haven't put meshing on. (I have seen him) nice job, checking all is clear for the ducklings to go down the sluice.
If they put a sluice cover on the sluice now, it would now save them time wouldn't it.
Another Lie to the residents of Nafferton by Paul Nicolson, vice chair
He has put on a video showing a rubber duck not going down the sluice. Nice set up to fool the public into thinking the ducklings are not going down. There is something stopping the rubber duck going down, and you can see all the leaves going down at the side.
 If rubbish can go down, so can ducklings. The flow going through was fixed too. I noticed the mere level go up, this must have been when Paul was doing his trick work. The level then went back down.
The water flow is less than it was, but ducklings will still go down, and the lack of ducklings on our mere proves this. anyone with any sense can see the ducklings can go down.

When it rains, the water flow going through the middle of the mere to the sluice is extremely fast. All ducklings, and baby moorhens just get washed away. It makes a bit of a  difference that the flow has been slowed down by opening the bottom sluice, but not enough. And I know for sure, as soon as the heat is off the council, the flow will go back up. At least while I am campaigning, they are keeping the flow down. 
How these people sleep at night I don't know.

 All ducklings this year have gone, and noticed by other residents not just me. A new batch born on the mere, and only 5 left but I am managing to keep them at the front by feeding them several times a day, and these five are doing ok. These are the only 5 ducklings left on the mere
Another batch born 4th June. 13 ducklings, mum just had one left the next day. Nature does not take 12 ducklings in one go. The sluice does.
I am feeding more at the front of the mere, to keep all ducks away from the back of the mere.

Doing videos of the duck in a tree, being thrown off a bridge etc.... What childish nonsense?  making fun of the situation just shows how childish he is, and what disregard he has for the ducklings. And just proves what awful, unprofessional people the council are


  How can a parish council get away with this kind of behaviour is beyond me.

Sue Tait seems to think that because Jon has now left that it can not be down to them. They are wrong. I complained to them, and sue Tait  said it was allowed. ?

I have gone through all the posts and I can see no posts from me that deserve the outrages post above. I do not shout at school children.  and as to me being misinformed, I think you will find everything I have said to be correct. It is Jon who is misinformed.
All I have tried to do is get the public to realise they are being lied to.
My Notice was very informative. It told people why bread was bad, it also gave other foods that can be given to the ducks. Over the 2 years it has been up, it made a big difference in the amount of bread floating on the water, and rotting on the bottom of the water. People were taking notice and feeding other foods. Now it seems bread is ok, and that's what people are throwing in now.

All the people of Nafferton have been informed in the council newsletter that they parish council are doing everything they can to resolve the situation.
Lies again. 
There biggest efforts have been to stop me protecting the ducklings. They have not done a thing to protect them.

13 ducklings born, 13 went down the sluice. I got a call from someone to tell me some had come through the wheel alive and were in trouble, and one was on it's back with it's legs kicking.
I only managed to save 2 alive, and one of them died the next day, so lucky the duckling is the only survivor out of 13 ducklings born on the mere.
Killed from the neglect of our parish council.
And this they say is LOW RISK?
Jon got to sure of himself with all the support he was getting from his lies about me. When the referendum results came in, he put this post on. He got a lot of complaints on this post, and he spat his dummy out and left the council. Still has to be the liar he is and he tells everyone it was because of me he left?
